Kate Middleton was living a fashion fairytale when she stepped out for a glamorous evening in the Bahamas last night. For a party hosted by the country's Governor-General, Sir Cornelius Alvin Smith, at the Baha Mar Resort, Kate, actual royalty, channeled her inner Disney princess — Cinderella, to be exact — in a silky ice blue ballgown and her version of glass slippers.
The custom Phillipa Lepley dress featured bow detailing on each shoulder and a plunging crossover neckline that allowed just enough room for a layered mother of pearl necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels. Kate accessorized with a blue satin clutch that matched her gown, as well as a pair of netted silver heels with sparkling embellishments.
In lieu of her bouncy waves, Kate went for a sleek, straight hairstyle parted down the middle and tucked behind her ears. Her makeup was also evening-ready with a subtle smoky eye and a rosy pink lip.
This is the third glamorous look Kate has worn during her and Prince William's Caribbean tour. First, she stunned in a pink metallic gown by cool-girl favorite brand The Vampire's Wife during a reception in Belize, and a few days later, the duchess stepped out again in Jamaica, wearing an emerald green Jenny Packham number that resembled one of Princess Diana's favorite dresses.
