Suzanne Somers had unbreakable bond with son Bruce

Suzanne welcomed her son, Bruce, into the world on November 8, 1965, at the tender age of 19. Their bond grew stronger over the years, and Suzanne never missed a chance to celebrate her son's birthdays with heartfelt Instagram posts, where she affectionately referred to him as "the greatest person on the entire planet."

Bruce's journey led him to The Thatcher School in California for his early education, and he continued his academic pursuits by studying at the University of California, Berkeley, where he received a BFA in dramatic arts in 1988. Subsequently, he earned an MFA in film from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1991.

How many grandchildren does Suzanne Somers have?

Suzanne married again, this time to Alan Hamel in 1977, resulting in Bruce gaining two additional siblings, Leslie and Stephen, from Hamel's previous relationship.

Bruce got married too, in due time, in 1991. His wife is chef and cookbook author Caroline Somers and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Camelia and Violet.

In touching social media posts, Bruce occasionally offers glimpses of his family's life, from celebrating Violet's graduation in 2021 to commemorating Camelia's 28th birthday in 2023.

Suzanne, too, embraced her role as a grandmother with enthusiasm, quipping, "You're a parent with none of the responsibility of being a parent."

She cherished the opportunity to love and nurture her six grandchildren from Bruce, Leslie and Stephen, rekindling the magic of parenthood in her golden years.

Suzanne Somers depended on Bruce as her family's 'Gadget Guy'

In a heartwarming episode of Suzanne's talk show, 'The Suzanne Show,' in 2012, the mother-son duo showcased their close-knit relationship. Bruce, Suzanne's go-to tech support person, was affectionately dubbed "The Gadget Guy."

As he demonstrated how to share a post on Instagram, he couldn't resist sneaking in compliments, hailing Suzanne as the "hippest grandmother."

Their interactions illustrated a bond that was not just familial but also marked by shared interests and an unwavering connection.

Her legacy lives on through her son, Bruce, and the unforgettable moments they shared throughout their lives.
