The upcoming Diablo 4 open beta ‘Server Slam’ arrives next weekend. To save time, preload times will be going live soon. Here’s everything we know.
With the open beta only available for the weekend of May 12 to May 14, every moment is precious if you wish to experience as much of the RPG as possible. However, with the download being hefty, Blizzard have announced you will soon be able to preload the beta ready for its release.
Diablo 4 Server Slam Preload Times
You can start the download for the Diablo 4 Server Slam from 12:00 PST / 15:00 EST / 20:00 BST on May 10.
In order to find the beta, simply head to the Diablo 4 Server Slam application on Xbox via the Xbox Store and PlayStation consoles via the PlayStation Store. As the beta is free, you do not have to have a subscription to Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus. However, these will be needed for the game’s full launch on June 6 if you wish to access multiplayer.
If you are on PC, you can find it on the BattleNet launcher via the ‘All Games’ category. Once you have selected Diablo 4, you can use the drop-down menu on the bottom left to select ‘Server Slam.’
What To Expect
As you can guess by the title, the Server Slam is the last open beta and will be a test for Blizzard to see how the servers hold up. With the last open beta seeing long queue times and crashes, it remains to be seen if it will improve. However, with the beta going live across all platforms, some connection issues are bound to arise.
With many of the same features as previous betas, this one will also allow players to earn the Cry of Ashava mount trophy. This can be obtained by reaching level 20 on one character during the beta and defeating world boss, Ashava.
As to what else you can expect, we’ve got you covered.
